Can UV printer direct print Vanish now ?

As i remember, in 2007 we had the first UV flatbed printer, in that time the whole china only several companies that can build UV machine,every year have new company with new brand , until today , maybe up 50 companies.
 
At beginning the machine print slow, low resolution, always have problem.but now, have made much improvement. with high speed, high resolution,some client need to print with concave-convex effect, also need to print vanish directly. Clients know more and more about UV flatbed printer,have high demand for this printing machine.Right now , the UV printer considered as multi-function, can print white ink,Vanish, on so many kinds of surface. UV printer is now run in the printing market ahead. In the future, the market is definitely UV printer world, whether decoration industry, or advertising, or printing industry.

UV printer need single print head for vanish, if client need vanish, normally print on certain part of image, for example, print con colorful image , after vanish, the color is shining. Make the whole job higher quality.


The UV flatbed printer color have different combination,CMYK LC LM W.print all these color with UV ink, it is not problem, but when it come to vanish,is it same ? our answer is no, although we can use print head direct print vanish, but we do not suggest to do so.
1, printing slowly, vanish printing after test, show that the printing is not even, and too slow.make the printing job not effective, if need print vanish, must after the color printing finish, this means will print double time for the image.
2, second the vanish is more corrosive then UV ink,the vanish molecular particles is bigger then that of UV ink, this will cause the the print head damage.
3,cost high, if want to print vanish, need to put another extra head, from software to ink supply system , all need extra cost.


Our suggestion is to have a spray gun or coating machine to do the vanish, will be a better choice.
