As a essential printing equipment in the sign industry , I believe many friends are familiar with this, in the daily operation of the printing machine maintenance , often come into contact with some of the accessories,let have a close look.




Inkjet printer, a large-format printing machine, of which our common accessories and often need to maintain and replace are: print head (usually Epson),copper,encoder strip, ink tube, damper and so on. we should pay attention to the following matters when use the accessories.

1, print head, it is the most important part on the printer, its quality directly effect the printing job.can not left the printer without working for long time,and always need to keep the print head wet, not let it dry.




2,the ink tube, should pay attention to daily use of the ink tube. such as if ink tube leaks, damage, etc,which may cause in ink supply bad, or   inside bubble and other issues. ink tube must use anti-corrosion, this is very important, and corrosion pipe wall will be thicker, can prevent cracking.

3, damper, regular check the damper to see if have sediment, plug and other issues. Damper should change from time to time, because it filter the ink, which is good for print heads.




4,copper, the original copper sets have done metal softening disposal, and in the copper plus graphite to do smooth, but the domestic copper sets will never do so, the cost is too high. With domestic, must be on the oil, The simplest is the use of cloth suck some oil rub well on the shaft. can also the use of fine mechanical high-temperature solid smooth oil, but do not use butter (require high temperature and humidity, easy to dry)

5,USB cable,this must not be too long, it is best to shield, USB cable is too long will affect the transmission of data or affect the computer and the connection between the printer. If it is a network cable interface, be sure to follow the standard connection to make the network cable, arranged in order,connect points to ensure good contact, can be detected through the relevant network cable detector.




6,encoder strip, to keep the raster surface clean, usually with a dry cloth to clean, also can with water or alcohol.


In addition to the above, also need to pay attention to ink, the printer can have outdoor and indoor ink. please do not mix the various types of ink to avoid unnecessary effects.
